The founder
Born in Saint-Tropez, Lorenzo Conticchio has worked in private security for more than ten years. He started out in the nightlife world before specialising in close protection and personal assistance for high-profile individuals, all over the world.
Mission after mission, he and his colleagues kept running into the same problems. Riviera Guard was born from that observation: a system designed point by point, by a man of the field, for professionals in the field.
Riviera Guard launches in France, then in other European countries and internationally. Its ambition is twofold. On one side, it finally gives private security professionals a reference space of their own, so they can focus on what matters: their mission. On the other, it gives individuals and businesses a single platform to find the company or agents suited to their need, whatever it is.

Does Riviera Guard supply the agents?
No. Riviera Guard is a marketplace that connects clients and providers. Services are carried out by private security companies and agents who hold their own licences. Riviera Guard does not supply agents and does not hold a CNAPS licence.
What does it cost the client?
The price is set by the provider and shown before you order. Riviera Guard's commission is paid by the provider: it is not added to the price you pay.
How are providers checked?
Before being offered to clients, every provider has their CNAPS licences and professional cards checked. Riviera Guard is not a public authority: checks are carried out on the basis of the information available.
When is the provider paid?
The payment is held until the mission is approved. The client approves it within 24 hours (business) or 48 hours (individual); without a dispute in that time, it is deemed approved and the provider is paid, minus commission.
Can I cancel a mission?
Yes, free of charge up to 5 hours before it starts. After that, compensation of 80% of the price is owed to the provider, except in case of force majeure or a failure on their part.
I'm an agent without a business: who employs me?
A security company, with a proper fixed-term contract (CDD) for each mission: it employs and pays you. The service is free for agents, you are never asked for money.
